CarSourceHub processes personal data of buyers, dealers and site visitors for vehicle export services. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how you exercise your rights.
1. Data we collect
Identity and contact data (name, WhatsApp, phone, email), destination country and port, budget and vehicle preferences, inquiry and order history, documents you send for customs clearance, and technical data (IP, device, cookies, analytics identifiers).
2. Purposes and legal basis
Responding to inquiries and issuing quotations (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps); shipping, customs and conformity filing (legal obligation and contract); fraud prevention and security (legitimate interests); marketing messages (consent, withdrawable at any time).
3. Sharing
We share data only with parties required to complete your order: inspection agencies, freight forwarders and shipping lines, insurers, conformity bodies (e.g. SABER/SASO applications), banks, and customs authorities of the destination country. We do not sell personal data.
4. Cross-border transfers
Vehicle export requires transferring data from China to the destination country. Transfers are limited to what the transaction requires and are covered by contractual confidentiality terms with each recipient.
5. Retention
Inquiry data: 24 months from last contact. Transaction, trade and customs documents: 10 years, as commonly required by export bookkeeping rules. Analytics data: up to 26 months.
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Write to privacy@carsourcehub.com; we reply within 30 days.
7. Security
Encrypted transport (TLS), role-based access control, and access logging on our administrative systems.
