Chinese cars by destination port: shipping cost & import duty
Pick your destination port to see what a Chinese car or EV actually costs to land there — ocean freight, transit time, import duty and VAT, required documents, and the right-hand or left-hand drive BYD, Haval, Chery and Changan stock we can ship.
Quick answers: where and how to import
Which countries can I import Chinese used cars into?
Major markets include the UAE and Saudi Arabia (GCC conformity via SASO/SABER, age limits apply), Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania (pre-shipment inspection mandatory), Russia and Kazakhstan (overland via Khorgos, EAEU rules), Thailand and the Philippines. Age limits range from 3 years (Saudi used-car rule) to 8+ years depending on market.
What is CCIC pre-shipment inspection?
CCIC (China Certification & Inspection Group) inspection is a pre-shipment verification of a vehicle's condition, VIN and mileage required by Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and several other destinations before customs clearance. A car without a recognised pre-shipment inspection certificate will be denied entry or fined at the destination port. CarSourceHub coordinates CCIC inspection before every shipment.
